SUMMER

When I began working here in 1983, the color scheme was gray and cream. And they'd lost the spittoon. | |
In '87, we went to teal, pink, and ivory. Henry Washburn's portrait now hangs over the fireplace (one of the founders of the hotel), and a bust of Galen Clark (who established the first hotel in the area in 1857) rests on the mantle. The wallpaper was again changed in the summer of 2004, so I guess I'll have to make another photo before they change it again! |
